•Following a disastrous storm, an electricity pylon collapses onto a swampy area full of worms, discharges a high-voltage shock to the ground, and transforms the insects into voracious carnivores. The small village near the disaster site is invaded by the flesh-hungry worms, which will make a raid leaving only a small group of inhabitants alive. A small cult movie of the genre: shot effectively, well acted, and very fluid; it does have its flaws: the story and some sequences are at the limit of implausibility (but after all, it's not a documentary!). Overall, it's a good film.
