In Perfection, a quiet town in Nevada, strange deaths occur one after another. The culprits are the Graboids, huge worms that suddenly emerge from the ground devouring anyone who crosses their path. A mix between horror and science fiction, a classic B-movie with a plot as simple as it is effective, which manages to engage the viewer also thanks to the usual impeccable performance by Kevin Bacon ("Friday the 13th", "Dying Young") who here we find in the role of the protagonist. Great special effects, whose realization was made even more difficult by the idea of setting the entire story during the day, moreover in a desert area and therefore in full sunlight. To make a good movie, it was necessary to create "creatures" that were believable, precisely because they are well visible to the viewer, and the result was widely achieved. Fun and engagement for a movie that wants to be nothing more than pure and wholesome entertainment. Recommended.
