•In the office of a famous notary, a mysterious letter arrives, written by a powerful medium who died a year ago. The wife and stepdaughter welcome the notary's assistant into the castle, who begins to investigate the mysterious deaths of the people present on the day of the medium's disappearance. Directed by Massimo Pupillo and starring the talented Barbara Steele, this film, although it lacks the resources of major productions, offers a truly excellent atmosphere and some notable moments of tension accompanied by a spectral and unsettling chant. It is therefore a film worth rediscovering, although it will not be easy as it has not been seen on television for decades and it is rare to find a version on videotape.
