Directed by Massimo Pupillo and starring the talented Barbara Steele, this film, although it lacks the resources of major productions, offers a truly excellent atmosphere and some notable moments of tension accompanied by a spectral and unsettling chant. It is therefore a film worth rediscovering, although it will not be easy as it has not been seen on television for decades and it is rare to find a version on videotape.
