Marco Castellini
A group of university researchers are conducting experiments on some vegetables with the aim of increasing their dimensions to an excessive extent; due to an accident, some mice feed on the genetically modified foods and become gigantic, and as if that were not enough, hungry for human flesh. The university campus students will suffer the consequences. Probably the director's intention was to make a horror film, in some way "committed", that would denounce the indiscriminate testing of drugs on living beings, but the result was not the best. It is a sort of sequel to the 1976 film "The Food of the Gods", boring, predictable, with rather "cheap" special effects, and unfortunately also with too few sequences (almost none in truth) "with effect".
