•A gelatinous substance falls to Earth, devouring everything in its path and spreading panic. Nothing seems able to stop it, but when all seems lost, it is discovered that the creature can be destroyed with cold. A simple but rather original idea for a film that is closer to science fiction than to horror. The great Steve McQueen is the protagonist. A fun and enjoyable movie. A curious note: for years, some scenes from this movie appeared in the opening sequence of the cult TV show "Blob".
