In an indefinite future, a scientist, due to a radioactive storm, is catapulted to the early 1800s. Unfortunately, he falls directly into the clutches of Dr. Frankenstein and his terrible creature. Return to directing for a great past director, Roger Corman, who had at his disposal a high-level cast, including John Hurt, Bridget Fonda, Raul Julia, but the result is not up to expectations. A somewhat inconclusive screenplay, few scenes of "true" horror film and a rather slow pace.
