Six college students take the wrong road and end up in a quiet town called Divinity Falls. When they think about leaving, they discover the presence of an evil force that controls the children living in the town. At this point, the young people have two options: flee or save the unfortunate children from the danger that lurks. This is the fifth film adapted from Stephen King's book "Children of the corn". Classic low-budget horror, aimed at the home video market (in Italy, "Cecchi Gori" also distributed it in theaters, but in very few cinemas and for just one weekend) with almost unknown actors (only a young Eva Mendes and John Carradine in a cameo stand out), a not particularly original plot, and a director (the same as "La casa di Helen") who has not had many successes in his career. Some good blood sequences, with slit throats and severed limbs, but poor digital effects.
