In order to combat the damage caused by the depletion of the ozone layer, maverick biologist Hank Symes unleashes his most ambitious experiment to date: accelerated evolution. Unfortunately, this not only causes the authorities to take notice, but also creates a backlash from his new neighbors--leaving his son caught in the middle.

Il buco nell’ozono e l’inquinamento hanno mutato la conformazione genetica dei vegetali; uno scienziato cerca di porvi rimedio ma finisce vittima di alcuni funghi giganti. La popolazione terrestre è oramai in gravissimo pericolo… Splatter-horror di produzione canadese: effetti speciali “eccessivi”, sceneggiatura improvvisata, attori mediocri (dopo tutto si tratta di un B movie…) ma anche un po’ di sano divertimento. Bruttino ma c’è di molto peggio...
