A fake vampire terrorizes the inhabitants of a Czech village by draining his victims of blood, but in the end, the police will catch him with the help of a hypnotist. Eerie and unreal "mystery" of the night directed by the director of "Dracula first" (1931) who, on this occasion, reworks his silent masterpiece "The Ghost of the Castle" (1927) and makes Lugosi recite some verses of Poe, whose torture of the story "The Pit and the Pendulum" is also used and "The Pit and the Pendulum" (1943). Appreciable.
