A group of wandering actors arrives at a count's castle and is invited to spend the night in his mansion. After discovering a series of mysterious statues inside the castle, so realistic they seem alive, the guests understand that the artist who shaped those works is the same mad count who turns people into stone statues thanks to a potion. Good Anglo-Italian co-production with the participation in the cast of two legendary actors like Christopher Lee and the debutant Donald Sutherland. Suitable especially for lovers of the 1960s Gothic genre.
