•A cruise ship heading to the Caribbean crosses the infamous "Bermuda Triangle" and unsettling, logic-defying events begin to occur on board. The film could have taken two different paths: providing some explanation for the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, perhaps inventing some sea monster or alien entity living in the depths of the sea, or leaving the interpretation of the events to the viewer's imagination, without showing more than necessary to scare and unsettle. Fortunately, the film takes this second path, proving absolutely enjoyable and at times truly unsettling. A real surprise, also because with a director like Cardona (who after this film will direct the awful "Uccelli 2" pseudo-sequel of the Hitchcock masterpiece) the worst was expected. Too bad that "Il Triangolo delle Bermuda" is one of the hardest films to find.
