During the 70's, some Komodo Dragon eggs were dumped on an North Carolina island. Somehow, the baby Komodos survived, and twenty years later they have grown up and taken over the island for themselves. Young Patrick has lost his parents and his dog to the lizards, but didn't see them himself, which has left him traumatized. Now, with his therapist Victoria, they return to confront his fears.

That summer could have been like all the other summers for young Patrick Connelly, traveling from the family summer house on the original island of Emerald. But something different this time, something sinister, awaits him. Where once stood charming summer villas now extend vast industrial plantations and in place of old friends with whom he played, lies an unimaginable terror. Imagine a bad idea, made with two cents, entrusted to B-list actors and directed by an incompetent director and you have "Komodo". To be avoided.
