An unknown man shows up at the door of the wealthy Collins family and claims to be a distant relative. In fact, the man looks very much like a portrait of an ancestor kept in the house; as soon as he settles in the Collins' villa, some mysterious murders begin. Boring horror directed by the otherwise good Dan Curtis; cloying, not scary at all, predictable…quite avoidable.
