Dracula questa volta se la prende con un vescovo: lo uccide e gli rapisce e vampirizza la figlia. Ci penserà un baldo giovanotto ad eliminare la minaccia. Uno degli peggiori film della Hammer sulle gesta del famigerato Conte. Dracula è interpretato ancora una volta, con signorilità ma con poco trasporto, da Cristopher Lee (che accettò controvoglia la parte). Storia trita e ritrita, situazioni ed atmosfere totalmente prive di originalità ed un Conte Dracula più Don Giovanni che creatura malefica. Assolutamente trascurabile.
