•A biologist and a police lieutenant must confront and eliminate a terrifying mutant creature from the Amazon, which feeds on human brains. The creature takes refuge in the Natural History Museum just a few hours before an inauguration: death and blood are inevitable. Some good computer effects and a few well-executed splatter scenes are the best parts of the film, which otherwise offers a rather sparse plot and a predictable ending. But the question one asks while watching this movie is how it is possible that the monster manages to kill and tear apart anyone in a few moments and then gets eliminated by a defenseless biologist... never underestimate women!
