•In one of the most prestigious schools in the United States, a highly sophisticated security system already used in military environments is installed. One of the institute's students, a spoiled daughter with a passion for computers, downloads a virus from the network that, once introduced into the system, will crash the school's computer, turning it into a killing machine that will start massacring the poor unfortunate teenagers who crowd the university campus... Sequel to "The Mangler", an already mediocre film based on a novel by Stephen King and starring Robert Englund. If the first chapter could be considered a low-quality film, worse can be said of this movie that has nothing to do with the writer from Maine. The film is really stupid and not original at all, even in its initial idea: machines that revolt against man, all already seen in many other films, including "Brivido" based and directed by King. To this must be added the insipid and weak acting of the actors: almost irritating the performance of the lead actress Chelse Swain ("The Virgin Suicides"), no less the rest of the cast, Dexter Bell ("Scary Movie"), Daniella Evangelista ("Wishmaster 3") and Miles Meadows, recently appeared in the TV version of "Carrie". Notably, the presence of the great Lance Henriksen (true cult actor for his performances in "Aliens", "Il Buio Si Avvicina", "Millennium"...), here unfortunately reduced to the role of a simple caricature. In short, the movie is really bad and boring. If you're looking for thrills, it's better to look elsewhere.
