•During a car journey, forced to stop because of the snow, a man is bitten by a wolf. From that night on, every time the full moon rises in the sky, he transforms into a terrible werewolf who makes a massacre of anyone who comes his way to satisfy his ferocity. All this certainly does not fit perfectly with his job as editor-in-chief of an important publishing house.
They managed to make a bad movie even with the great Jack Nicholson! A story of werewolves set in modern times, slow and predictable with an absolute lack of violent or at least bloody scenes, probably to avoid cuts by the censorship. In addition to having wasted the great talent of Nicholson, it is not understood why the director wanted one of the best make-up artists in Hollywood (Rick Baker of "An American Werewolf in London") to then have the protagonists "made up" with a pair of sideburns and two contact lenses, only on this the transformation into werewolf of the characters was based. Not to mention then the slow-motion scenes in the style of "The Bionic Man", made to turn a poor Nicholson overweight… a disaster!
