A young woman gives birth to a deformed child who, just after being born, kills doctors and nurses before fleeing. The father first wants to kill him, then takes pity and tries to save his life. The film that introduced director Cohen to the general public. An original story for a well-acted movie that has the only flaw of being a bit too slow in the middle part; it achieved good success and has three sequels.
