•A misanthropic researcher specializing in genetics conducts crazy experiments in a bunker laboratory located near a small provincial town. Officially, the doctor is studying a system to genetically modify the DNA of chickens and hens to make them bigger, but in reality, she is trying to create a new species of dinosaurs capable of being inserted, in the form of embryos, into chicken eggs and then implanting and growing in the wombs of women who consume those same eggs. Her crazy experiment succeeds and panic breaks out in the small town... A classic B-movie that, for once, does not even attempt to hide under the usual veil of "normality" its true nature: from the name of one of the protagonists (called Trash) to the film poster itself (which you can admire on the left), everything makes the viewer understand from the beginning what to expect. An unlikely story (women giving birth to dinosaurs?!) that is little more than a pretext to stage rivers of blood, ghostly dinosaurs very similar to the Japanese puppets in Godzilla movies, and some "small thefts" (or quotes, if you will...) from more or less known films (from "Jurassic Park" to "The City Will Be Destroyed at Dawn") and here is served "Carnosaur". In terms of "unawareness," the film has few equals and, for this reason, can also be entertaining; of course, it is more than sufficient, but absolutely not necessary to watch it just once... Curiosity: the film was produced by the king of B-movies Roger Corman, probably the producer with the largest number of films produced, over 300!
