A woman, despite using normal contraceptives, becomes pregnant, possessed by the devil himself. The newborn should be a child who would be the reincarnation of her ex-boyfriend, who died some time before in a car accident. One of the many Italian productions that "echo" themes addressed by classics of the genre, belonging in this case to the exorcism subgenre (in particular "Rosemary's Baby" by Polanski). The screenplay is quite complex and partly confusing, with the result that, in the end, the most successful thing about this film remains, as usual, the excellent performance by Gabriele Lavia ("Profondo Rosso" or "Zeder"). Suitable only for the most passionate devotees of Italian horror.
