•A group of people is forced, by a sudden storm, to spend the night in an old, sinister-looking villa, hosted by two kind old people. The elderly homeowner is a craftsman who makes dolls, which is why the house is full of toys. At night, the toys come to life and kill almost all the house guests, sparing only a little girl and a man… Horror in an old country house and it feels like the beginning of Rocky Horror Picture Show, where a family with a broken-down car will end up being hosted and will have a lot to deal with. The golden duo Gordon (director) and Yuzna (producer) this time take a half-step backward by making a not very convincing film. It is a sort of "horror fairy tale" whose moral is the advice that it is better, deep down, to remain at least a little childlike, "Those who dream deserve to live." A nice idea developed like this, but it is undeniable that this brief, barely over an hour, horror has some anthology sequences.
