•To avoid being hanged because of his too risky experiments, Dr. Frankenstein has taken refuge, under a false name, in an asylum. But even there, he does not stop his obsessive research for the creation of an artificial man, helped by a young student in good faith.
A rather boring English production from the seventies with once again the indestructible Peter Cushing as the protagonist. Fisher had not yet understood that the era of "classic monsters" and gothic settings in the horror genre had ended long ago!
