Despite being burned alive in the operating room fire of the hospital, Michael is not dead: he wakes up in the ambulance taking him to the morgue and kills the occupants, beginning to spread death with the aim of finding and killing his granddaughter (the daughter of his sister Laurie, now dead). Dr. Loomis, although burned and limping, sets out after him. Classic sequel that doesn't offer anything new; probably produced only to make some money by exploiting the fame of the saga, the film is predictable and boring, and even the very good Donald Pleasence seems to have had enough of playing the indestructible Dr. Loomis. The movie manages to reach sufficiency only thanks to a good ending that wakes the viewer from their drowsiness. Suitable only for "die-hard" fans of the series.
