•The followers of a sect that practices ancient demonic rituals try to convince a fragile woman to atone for the crime committed as a child, when she pushed her mother towards death, through an extreme sacrifice. For the girl begins thus a subtle but relentless psychological torture that will end with a horrible conclusion... This is a film with risqué themes for the time, so much so that it had no few problems with censorship for its extreme and unhealthy content. Starring an excellent Mismy Farmer and featuring a spectral photography, Barilli's film is a crescendo of tension and horror, in the vein of Rosemary's Baby (which it actually draws inspiration from for many situations), culminating in one of the most chilling endings in our genre cinema. For some, a cult film, for others, a slow and boring movie: the truth is usually in the middle... It is recommended to watch the uncut version, on TV the final scene, needless to say, is horribly censored.
