•Young Julie, thanks to a radio contest, wins a vacation for her and her friends on a tourist island. The kids, upon arrival, realize they are the only guests at the tourist village that is about to close for the season, plus a hurricane is approaching, forcing them to stay on the island. Meanwhile, a mysterious killer has started to claim victims. In the end, the survivors will discover that the prize vacation was nothing more than a trap organized by the killer himself to avenge the kids who, the previous summer, had killed his father by hitting him with a car.
Sequel to "So What Happened Last Summer": the direction changes but the screenplay is still by Williamson and, like the previous one, it is one of those teen-horrors that American teenagers love so much. Fast pace, constant plot twists and attractive girls as protagonists (Jennifer Love Hewitt, even though pursued by a crazy killer, always manages to wear perfectly fitting low-cut blouses, perhaps a technique to distract the madman?). It even manages to be less original than the first chapter but remains quite fluid and, finally, some bloody scenes are seen. For fans of the genre.
