Some friends, while going up a river on a boat, find radioactive waste abandoned by some smugglers. The toxic waste has transformed one of the river's crocodiles into a voracious and extremely dangerous monster. The group is attacked by the huge reptile, which, after causing a good number of victims, is finally eliminated. However, the threat is not entirely over... A film that does not enter the history of horror in terms of originality but is still watchable. The shaky special effects (work of a Giannetto De Rossi, for once not up to par) inevitably suffer from the very low budget available, and the acting is also rather shaky. Music composed by Riz Ortolani (known for the soundtrack of "Cannibal Holocaust"). If you watch it without too many demands, it can even be entertaining.

My roommate, about 10 minutes before the end of Killer Crocodile: "I don't think this croc deserves to get shot, but fuck the people who made this do."

There's virtually nothing about Killer Crocodile that's good, but everything about the dialogue is truly terrible. The sound quality, the dubbing, the lines, the ADR delivery, all of, but most of all, the repetition. Rarely have I been so infuriated by such a large number of characters in a movie for the same one reason. Every single person in this movie says each of their lines a minimum of twice, and not infrequently, will shout a single line what felt like dozens of times back-to-back.

I liked his fat little crocodile hands though. Very cute.

Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible.
