Marco Castellini
โขEarly twentieth century: in a Scottish castle, the members of a noble family are decimated one by one by a mysterious killer... One of the few missteps for this good Italian director, who, over his many years of an honorable career, has become known and appreciated abroad as well under the pseudonym Anthony M. Dawson, with which he also signs this film. The movie, a bit too slow in its development and directed with little inspiration by Margheriti, dwells excessively on the "erotic" side, without showing much more, and the poor actors seem lost in their roles, not helped at all by an indecent screenplay. Better to go and rewatch the previous, and undoubtedly better, films by Margheriti.
