REVIEWS (1)
In a gloomy pension near a lake live a series of unsettling characters: Marta, the owner of the villa, who hides a mysterious lover in the attic; the young and insecure Rosa and Rodolfo, a man without scruples maintained by a wealthy old woman. One night, Rosa is raped by Rodolfo; shortly after, a mysterious avenger arrives at the pension who one by one eliminates all those who have done harm in some way to the girl... Second "horror" film by Barilli after the brilliant "The Perfume of the Lady in Black". It is a decent film enhanced by careful direction and a fairly interesting ending that, however, never achieved great success, remaining, partly unjustly, forgotten. To this day, the film has never been released on VHS, neither for sale nor even for rent, those who want to see it must try to recover it in one of the sporadic TV broadcasts, in a censored version (albeit "only" a few seconds).
