•The Freeling family has moved house; they are now staying with their grandmother, but they are not at peace there either. The spirits return, wanting to take little Carol away once more, but a dwarf occultist and an Indian sorcerer protect the child and her family. Given the success of the first Poltergeist, this sequel was to be expected, adding little or nothing to the original: same story, same atmosphere, but a bit more boring. Negligible classic sequel, suitable for viewers who really liked the first chapter. Curiosity: in the cast, it is worth noting the presence of the giant Indian actor Will Sampson (in the role of the spiritist sorcerer) that older viewers will remember for his masterful performance in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".
