The Verdict

An inexperienced relative of the victim from the first episode, several years later, decides to test the existence of Candyman, but she too will meet a bad end, dragging some friends along. The same sequel, predictable and too similar to the first one, which it reproduces the same situations and plot almost as if it were a remake.

A true sequel In order to get what is going on here you need a bit of background, like a true sequel is supposed to demand of you. However, it does build a lot of lore for the previous movies, as a sequel is supposed to do as well. This makes this a worthy inclusion. Tony does a lot with the little he is given, and the other characters are good enough. It is not the strongest entry in the universe of the Candyman, but it is still recommended to fans of the series.
