A girl becomes interested in the events that happened to the protagonist of the first "Nekromantik", so she goes to the cemetery and steals the boy's body to take him home with her and have sex with him; but while she "frequents" the corpse, at the same time she also frequents a porn movie voice actor (alive!). She will have to make a choice and only frequent one of the two; a very difficult choice for her! The German director Jorg Buttgereit makes strange and hardly classifiable films, which are either irremediably loved or hated: the two "Nekromantik" films, which he directed, belong to this genre of films, appreciable exclusively by those who can digest his raw and transgressive style. By far, the first chapter of this sequel is much better, which is classified by many as the worst film of Buttgereit, although it is certainly not to be thrown away because this director has nevertheless directed all works that "fly high". "Nekromantik 2" is not one of the best films of the necrophilia subgenre, unlike "Nekromantik" which is pure poetry; moreover, in some scenes this film resembles its predecessor a lot, thus not being very original in the story. Excellent the special effects, which especially in one scene (eviration and decapitation) appear extremely realistic. An unusual choice by Buttgereit is to eliminate any dialogue from the first half hour of the film, making the viewer believe, at first glance, that they are watching a silent film. Unfortunately, all of this director's works are unreleased in our country, but by relying on imports, it is possible to recover some (including this one) with Italian subtitles. Film recommended only for an adult and strong-stomached audience, for lovers of necrophilia films and splatter films. Overall, "Nekromantik 2" is a film with good splatter scenes and, although you don't breathe a sickly air like in the first episode, it is still a good film. Worth watching, always by this director, "Nekromantik" and "Der Todesking", the latter is an episodic film that has been defined as his masterpiece.
