A child, left shocked after seeing his father torture his lover in a sort of perverse sadomasochistic game, turns into a ferocious serial killer and massacres the two with an axe. Having grown up, the boy escapes from the asylum and resumes his work from where he left off... This is one of the films included in the famous list of nasty-movies, that is, those considered so terrifying and "disturbing" as to be banned from ordinary cinema circuits. Almost impossible to find in its uncut version, the film is at times unsettling, due to some very strong situations, but unfortunately has an excessively slow pace that makes the story lose interest and suspense. It is still worth watching, at least for a couple of excellent splatter sequences, curated by none other than the great Tom Savini, even if, in the end, these do not seem so "disturbing" as to ban the film from distribution.
