In the same area, drug traffickers are testing new chemical feeds to increase their plantations, with the result of giving life to enormous mutant ticks that attack anyone who comes their way. Another horror produced by Yuzna that, turning a blind eye to the screenplay and plot (not very original and sometimes implausible), is appreciated in more than one sequence. Horrifying mutations (especially the metamorphosis of a boy into a huge tick) and blood in massive doses are the most appreciable qualities of the film. For lovers of the genre... those who love "author" horror should look elsewhere.
