REVIEWS (1)
An ultrasound machine designed to exterminate parasites has the undesired effect of bringing the dead back to life, and for the inhabitants of a small countryside village, trouble begins. A plot that is a bit too implausible is the only major flaw of the film, which otherwise proves to be an excellent zombie movie rich in well-conceived and executed splatter scenes; almost a sort of indirect tribute to the carnivorous zombies of "Night of the Living Dead" by Romero. Attention, however, the version that often airs on Mediaset channels is horribly censored, all the cannibalism scenes of the living dead are cut so the film, which had its strong point precisely in this, is irreparably mutilated. One wonders if this type of attitude is necessary, these films are already broadcast late at night, why censor them? The usual do-gooders are afraid that poor defenseless children will be in front of the television at three in the morning and be shocked by these "terrible visions"? Those who censor cinema do not love cinema.
